One of the largest players in the tourism and hospitality industry of the country - the companies included in the "Gabala Hospitality Group" took a new step within the group's corporate social responsibility program and signed the "Women's Empowerment (WSC) Principles", a global initiative. These principles serve as a guide for private sector enterprises to promote gender equality and women's empowerment in the workplace, labor market and society. The initiative was launched in 2010 by the UN Global Compact and UN Women. In Azerbaijan, these principles are promoted among private companies within the UN Development Program "Increasing the Economic Empowerment of Women in the South Caucasus" project.

Shabnam Farman, Chief Executive Officer of Gabala Hospitality Group, who participated in the meeting of the companies that signed the QSG principles, expressed her opinion about this significant event and noted that "Today, we announce to the public that we are a member of this global movement with great pride. For us, one of the most important priorities in business activity is sustainability and sustainable development. All activities in the companies included in our group are based on an equal approach and compliance with labor legislation. I think that the principles that are part of this global initiative will give further impetus to our inclusive approaches.
